HOME IS HERE.
A LITTLE MORE MEANINGFUL. A LITTLE MORE CONSCIOUS. A LITTLE MORE IMPACTFUL.
OUR CHOICES MEAN THE WORLD. EACH STEP WE TAKE, EACH GENTLE GESTURE, MAKES A WHOLE WORLD OF DIFFERENCE.
Every minute, one million single-use plastic bottles are purchased. Each year, between 5-13 million tons of single-used plastic leak into our oceans, being potentially fatal for birds and marine creatures. If the trend continues, the oceans will be filled with more plastic than fish in terms of weight by just 2050. Together with GLACIAL, we want to ignite change by challenging our habits and routines and establish a more mindful relationship to the consumption of single-use plastics.
For World Water Day 2020, we have joint forces with GLACIAL in order to celebrate nature and move towards a more sustainable approach to consumption and promote the shift towards multi-use plastics. #YellowForChange is a campaign to drive awareness towards overconsumption and embracing the beauty of nature we live in. With the purchase of the yellow IDEAL OF SWEDEN x GLACIAL bottle, you take a small step towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
“We are beyond excited to work with IDEAL OF SWEDEN, because both companies are rooted in a common pursuit of creating everyday luxuries that enhance longevity. We are committed to encouraging the multi-use of products, always setting quality over quantity. Together we want to create better, more mindful futures. "
- Pär Philipson, Co-Founder at GLACIAL
Both IDEAL OF SWEDEN and GLACIAL are excited to collaborate with a variety of global influencers to celebrate World Water Day 2020 and the Yellow For Change campaign. Among others, Bianca Ingrosso, Eveline Karlsen and Sylvie Meis are joining the initiative and promoting the limited edition bottles.
A MINDFUL COLLABORATION
As a value-driven company, IDEAL OF SWEDEN believes in the use of durable, multi-use materials, with quality being one of our most intrinsic values. All designs are 100% vegan and cruelty-free, as we strive to fulfill the highest quality and ethical standards in everything we do. Our products are hand-crafted from carefully sourced, high-quality materials, and produced in line with European standards and guidelines, as well as REACH certified (“Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals”).
In order to improve our social and environmental legacy, IDEAL OF SWEDEN has recently introduced 100% recyclable packaging. We also aim to minimize our carbon footprint by transporting our products and packaging as climate-friendly as possible. In 2020, we want to ship at least 40% of our orders via sea.
“Sustainability is an increasingly important topic for IDEAL OF SWEDEN. We believe in transparency, and in paving the way for a sustainable future of our brand. With over 2 million customers worldwide, it is our responsibility to educate our customers and encourage them to take actions on behalf of our planet. Our collaboration with GLACIAL is our start of igniting change.”
- Joachim Lindström, CEO at IDEAL OF SWEDEN
Committing to responsible choices in our everyday business is a vital aspect of igniting change. Nature is our home, resource and biggest muse, and to cherish it is to take care of it. Because little by little, a little will become a lot.
100% SOCIALLY COMMITTED
We believe in a responsible way of doing business, and we love the people we work with. From our headquarters in Sweden to our workers all over the world, we want our team to feel at home at iDeal of Sweden and enjoy their time at work.
100% VEGAN & CRUELTY-FREE
By using animal-friendly premium PU material, we actively combat animal-cruelty and the substandard, often toxic working conditions within the leather industry. Premium PU is also more durable and has a longer life-cycle than genuine leather.
Because nature is our biggest muse, we are continuously striving to improve our social and environmental legacy. To make recycling easy for you, we have designed all of our packaging to be 100% recyclable.
To incorporate sustainability into our designs and production processes, we have increased our efforts in sourcing new materials to promote more sustainable lifestyles that do not threaten our planet. Before delivery, each product is quality tested to make sure every piece lives up to your expectations, and ours. We also run several corporate social responsibility initiatives, read more about them here.READ MORE
